Rather expected game when 5th ranked AustrianBC Vienna (8-14) was defeated at home by third ranked Serbian FMP BG (8-12) 98-89 on Sunday. FMP BG made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was guard Lazar Stefanovic (201-2002, college: UCLA) who scored 26 points and 4 assists. Swingman Filip Barna (201-1999) chipped in 22 points and 6 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!). Five FMP BG players scored in double figures. American-Guinean guard Souley Boum (190-1999, college: Xavier) produced 32 points and 7 assists (was perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line !!!) and Lithuanian forward Simas Jarumbauskas (200-2000) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. BC Vienna's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. FMP BG maintains third place with 8-12 record behind leader Igokea, which they share with Zadar. Loser BC Vienna keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost.
